Of note in this update:
- The Norwich to Tilbury examination continues with the next deadline on 10th June and the next series of hearings w/c 22nd June.
- Construction of the Bramford to Twinstead development is continuing. - The ESW reservoir NSIP is temporarily pause, until April 2027, pending information from the Environment Agency
- We have received a scoping request for the Brunfort BESS development which will be issued later this month. At the moment, if an application is submitted for this project, it is expected to be determined by the respective local planning authorities (Mid Suffolk and Babergh DCs). However, the developer may request the application to determined by the Secretary of State as an NSIP.
- We have received a pre-application enquiry for the expansion of Yaxley substation which will be issued later this month.
- The North Falls wind farm NSIP has been consented.
- As a reminder, the monthly drop in session is now open for queries on all NSIPs. The sessions will be held via Teams using the existing meeting invite and is open to anyone, including individual residents, with queries about any NSIP. The next session is this week, on 11th June.
