Bildeston Road Closure

We're making good progress with our water pipe replacement work on High Street and wanted to let you know about the next phase of the project.

We've confirmed that we can use directional drilling for the next section of work. This allows us to install the new water pipe underground without digging up the full length of the road.

From Monday 20 July for around two weeks, our road closure will extend past Bildeston Health Centre to the Newberry Road junction. Temporary traffic lights will also be in place at the junction of Newberry Road and High Street.

The health centre car park will remain accessible by vehicle from the north end of the closure, with a member of our team on site to guide drivers safely to the entrance.

There will be no vehicle access through the closure from the south, although pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
